New Brothel Makeover Trip
It came as a surprise to people when we did a makeover at a brothel once, but what are people going to think when we go to another one? Probably that we are crazy, and because of that we are confident we are doing the right thing. It's time for yet another Brothel Makeover! Coming up April 5-8th we'll be driving the Nevada deserts to another experience of a life time. If this is something you would be interested in doing, sign up! We need you and whatever you can bring to the table. Guys are more than welcome as there is lots of manual labor involved and you just might be the guy for the job.
Hear what other volunteers said after their Strip Church Brothel Makeover Experience:
"I am humbled and honored to have been a part of this makeover, it was so much more than a "makeover" of rooms I really feel like God did a "makeover" in my heart and for that I am forever grateful to XXX Church for the opportunity to serve with you all!: - Linda
"I have to be honest, I'm not used to being around any group affiliated with church that has reached out so non-judgmentally & lovingly, not only to the girls but to everyone on staff in the brothel. The most uplifting part of the trip for me is to be part of a genuine example of what Jesus could & would do." - Jason
"I had this picture in my head that there would be an element of glamour in the brothel, the moment i saw it, i knew I was wrong. I was overwhelmed by the realness of the place…I was reminded that they were real and normal people just like me…I was honored to be a part of reminding those ladies that they are loved and worthy of being pursued (not because of what they can do) by people and a God that loves them so much." - Vicky

I support you all ministering to these girls because they really need help but do you think that remodeling their brothels is appropriate? I consider myself pretty open minded but this just seems wrong and quite enabling. There has to be a better way to let these girls know that God loves them. Maybe you should check out what they're doing in LA at www.dreamcenter.org. Give people a way out, not an incentive to stay where they're at. Just my opinion.
