Free Rides!

Last night we hit the Strip once more in the Strip Shuttle. As ever, we kicked off by visiting our friends who work giving out flyers for escort girls. We love to serve those guys (and girls) by bringing them some food and drink. The language barrier is still a problem (we don't know any Spanish!), but they know we're from a church, and they're always super-thankful. It's got to the point now where they come up to the bus if they see it, because they know we've always got treats for them! After we gave away all our food and water (average time: 10 minutes!) we started to stop by all the bus stops we passed to offer lifts to people who were waiting. We gave free rides to four super-friendly people last night, and it was great to help them out and get to know them a bit. They were all really thankful for the free ride, and were great to chat with.

It's an amazing privilege to help these folks out on a regular basis, and we love meeting them all. It's crazy to think that we can have a big impact on some people, just by giving them a free bottle of water, or saving them just one bus fare.
